who advanced and placed in their respective state competitions.
All eight high schools were represented and students earned first
place awards and “Best in Show” in the following program
areas: Family, Consumer Science; Health Science Technology; Graphic
Arts; Advertising Design; Marketing Education; Business Education;
Cosmetology; Computer Maintenance and Repair; Animation; Media
Technology; Photography; Building Trades; Criminal Justice; and
LUCK to CATE students and teachers advancing to National
Marketing Education students from
Brackenridge High School – A. Lopez, N. Faulkner and A.
Lopez will compete in Nashville, Tennessee. Their marketing teacher
is Cecil Lara.
Health Science Technology student
from Brackenridge High School – M. Vasquez will compete
in Orlando, Florida. Gale Minton is the health science teacher.
Cosmetology student from Brackenridge
High School – J. Tran will compete in Kansas City, Missouri.
