DELIVERY
Assessments will be delivered to campuses by February 22. Please verify your assessments upon delivery to ensure that you have all needed assessments.

Academy campuses will have the Elementary assessments delivered by Ginny's Printing and by Publications for the Middle School assessments.

EDUSOFT ANSWER SHEETS Available online by the end of the day
February 21.

Copies of Benchmark Assessments will not be posted to the CMS. Nine Week Assessments will be posted by the end of the day February 21.

Geometry, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- In Edusoft, item number 31 has been changed from A to D.. Please rerun any reports created on or before 3/6. No other action is necessary on your part. This change wil appear in Edusoft but not DataDirector until the end of the extended High School scanning deadline (March 21st).

6th Grade Reading, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- Please let 6th grade teachers know that the pie chart on the 1st passage of both the Reading and Reading-M assessments should read: 87% paper and 13% plastic.

3rd Grade Math, SPANISH, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- In Edusoft, item number 37 has been given a 0 point value in the Spanish version only. Please rerun any reports created on or before 2/29. No other action is necessary on your part.

4th Grade Math, SPANISH, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- In Edusoft, item number 10 has been given a 0 point value in the Spanish version only. Please rerun any reports created on or before 2/29. No other action is necessary on your part.

6th Grade Math, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- The STAAR Math charts were inadvertantly left out of the assessment. The missing pages (2) are available here.

1st Grade Social Studies, English and Spanish Feb 27-March 1, 2012- There was an error in printing with regard to the lettering of the answer choices for Question 4. The correct answer choices should be as follows:

8th Grade Social Studies Benchmarks, Feb 27-March 1, 2012- In Edusoft, item number 7 has been given a 0 point value. This item will not count in student scores.

7. 7th Grade Math, January 2012- On question #6, answer choice J, there should have been an equal sign at the end of the expression instead of a plus sign.  Answer choice J should read “0 + (-5) + 2 = -3” instead of “0 + (-5) + 2 + -3”.  Please point out this error to students, display the correct expression on the board for answer choice J and have them make this correction before they start the assessment. The Math Department sent an email out to all 7th Grade Math teachers on January 4th about this issue.

In choices C and D, change the 2nd to last word to increasing from decreasing, resulting in “and then they decrease at an increasing rate.”

English I and English II Writing October 2011 9 Week Assessments- The two assessments are incorrectly labeled. This information was communicated to English Department Chairs by the Reading/Language Arts department via email and to campus administrators by phone. Please make arrangements to give the correct assessment to your students.

• English I Written Composition is actually English II Written Composition.
• English II Written Composition is actually English I Written Composition.

English II Reading October 2011
9 Week Assessment-
The English II answer document does NOT have a rubric answer option for question #11, the short answer free response. 

In order to best address this matter, we are assigning a “0” point value to the #11 on the English 2 Reading 9 WK Oct 11 assessment. 

In addition, we have created a separate answer sheet to record the results using a 0-3 point rubric for ONLY question #11. Teachers will need to print this additional answer sheet entitled: English 2 Reading Question 11 – 9-Wk Oct 11
