- Information on the May 2013 Assessments has been posted to the Assessment Information Page. Copies of the Assessments and Answer keys will be available from the Assessment Tab of the Curriculum Management System no later than Tuesday, May 14. Student Answer Documents will also be available in Edusoft by the same date, Tuesday, May 14.

- Biology EOC Modified Answer Document- Please ensure that your answer document has the correct number of items prior to administration. . The Biology EOC-M has a total of 61 items to be tested. If you have the incorrect answer document, please rerun the answer sheet.

- 5th Grade Science, Modified Answer Document- The 5th Grade Science Modified answer document has 51 items and the assessment has 50 items. Item number 51 has been given a 0 point value and will not affect student scores. No action is necessary on your part.

- 6th Grade Social Studies CBA Correction- The Social Studies Department issued the following correction for item number 3. View the original email by clicking here.
In the chart for Question 3, when administering the test, teachers should direct students to cross out the third bullet point which reads “Free electoral system”, see below.
Students are to disregard this piece of information when determining the correct answer. The rest of the chart, the question, and the answer choices are to remain the same and unaltered by the teacher.
- 5th Grade Math Answer Key for Griddable Item- The Math Department updated the griddable answer key for #50 on the 5th Grade Math Answer Key. Teachers should count #50 correct if the student answers 74. If the assessment has been given and the wrong answer indicated by the teacher, the teacher should rebubble to indicate if the student answer is correct or incorrect and rescan, then rerun any reports run with incorrect data.

5th Grade Reading Modified Simulation , December 2012- Item #3 was given a 0 point value on Friday, December 7. As this was before the assessment window opened, no actions are required on your part.

- 5th Grade Reading Modified Simulation Correction- For item 28, the answer choices should read F/G/H instead of F/B/H. Either hand-correct the incorrect letter B or click here for a corrected page in PDF format.

October 18, 2012
- IPC CBA, October 2012- The answer for item#1 has been given a 0 point value in Edusoft. The system will
re-grade previously scanned assessments and adjust student scores accordingly. Any reports run before 4:00 PM on October 18, 2012 should be re-run. No other action is required on your part.
October 17, 2012
- 3rd Grade Reading CBA, English and Spanish, October 2012- The answer for item#10 was changed from F to H. Any reports run before 9:30 AM on October 17, 2012 should be re-run. No other action is required on your part.

- World Geography CBA, October 2012- The answer for item # 16 was changed from J to H. Any reports run before 3:00 PM on October 16, 2012 should be re-run. No other action is required on your part.

- World Geography CBA, October 2012- The assessment delivered to campuses is missing graphics on pages 5 and 6. This was discovered before the assessments were scheduled to be administered. Replacement pages are being printed and will be distributed at the Social Studies Department Head Meeting on October 11.

- Universal Writing Samples Answer Documents (Grades 1-5, English and Spanish, Grades 6-8, English I and English II) have been made public in Edusoft. The Writing Samples are available on the Assessments Tab.

- Science Pretests (5th Grade English and Spanish, 8th Grade) have been ordered from Publications and will be available on Thursday, August 30 for pickup. The bundled answer keys and scoring rubrics are available on the Assessments tab in the Curriculum Management System and by clicking below:
- Science Pre-test Answer Documents will be available through Edusoft (www.edusoft.com) on Thursday, August 30. Click on Benchmark Exams Tab, choose Assessments, and make sure the selector at the top of the page reads Show: Current. Open the 2012-13 Assessments folder and select Science, then Pretests, Sept 7-13 folder. Locate the assessment and click on Print Answer Sheets.
- The 2012-13 SAISD Class Rosters have been uploaded into Edusoft. The rosters are being automatically updated at least twice a week. Please contact the Curriculum Management Department at 354-4385 if you notice any discrepancies in your rosters.
- Verify that your Scanning Station is in working order. Use the instructions in the attached handout, Scanning Formative Assessments Using Edusoft , to print a Scanner Verification document . Please contact the Curriculum Management Department at 354-4385 if you require assistance.
- Use the instructions in the handout, Scanning and Uploading Answer Sheets, to scan your answer documents. The scanning deadline is Friday, September 14 at 5:00 PM.
