In the course of study for Geography and Places, students will understand the physical and human characteristics of a place. Using tools such as maps and globes will aid in determining location.

Students will be able to identify physical characteristics such as landforms, bodies of water, natural resources, and weather.

Our junior investigators will also examine the human characteristics of place such as ways of earning a living, shelter, clothing, food, and activities are based upon geographic location.
