A changing Texas. In this unit, Texas during the Great Depression and World War II, students will learn about how the Great Depression and Dust Bowl occurred.

They will also investigate how leaders from Texas contributed on the national level during the Great Depression such as John Nance Garner and Sam Rayburn. Student historians will also analyze the political, economic and social impact of World War II on Texas.
