Mr. DeWinne obtained his Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Houston and is a member of the Texas Association for School Nutrition. He has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry including ownership and management. Additionally, he possesses over 8 years experience in School Lunch Programs.

The Construction and Maintenance Departmentis responsible to maintain and create, functional, safe, and healthy kitchen in the SAISD.

Douglas Elementary, Crockett Elementary, Margil Elementary, and Whittier Middle kitchens are currently under construction.
EquipmentMaintenance
Our staff is responsible for all of the equipment in over 90kitchens in SAISD. Our staff is knowledgeable and well equipped to handle the problems thatarise. Our goal is to provide our kitchen staff and student with reliable and safe kitchens.
