Reporting a Problem with Your Dell Computer
Covered Under a Current Dell Warranty
If you are experiencing
a problem with your Dell computer, and the Dell computer is covered
under a current warranty, please use the following to get assistance
with the repair.
Report the following
information to the SAISD Helpdesk,
281-9090:
Department / Campus,
Room Number,
SAISD Inventory
Tag Number,
Name and Telephone
Number of the User Or Contact Person,
Dell Service Tag
Number and Express Service Code, and
Specific Problem.
If there is an error
message on the computer screen, please have the first few lines
of the error message written down. You may be asked specific questions
pertaining to the problem.
Be sure you or the
contact person has access to the key for the lock on the computer.
The technician Dell sends out will need to have the lock opened.
