Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS)

Students in grade 11 will continue to test and meet graduation requirements under the state assessment program known as TAKS. This test covers ELA, math, science, and social studies. The test in administered in March/April each school year. The assessment offers versions for special populations, to include TAKS- Accommodated, TAKS- Modified dependent upon students meeting the eligibility requirements for the specific version. At the 11th grade level students must pass all four subject areas to earn their high school diploma.
