SAISD provides health, dental, and life insurance for all full time employees, as well as many optional benefits for yourself and your family.

- Health Insurance - SAISD pays $279.14/ month ($204.14 + $75.00 from the State) for your choice of 3 plans. You pay $0 to $263.62/ month. Dependent coverage is also available.
- Dental Insurance - SAISD pays for the employee’s coverage. You pay $0. Dependent coverage is also available.
- Life Insurance - SAISD pays for $10,000 worth of life insurance. You may choose additional coverage at low group rates for yourself and your dependents.
- Vision Plan - Available to all employees and their dependents at low group rates.
- Social Security - You will also be earning credits to have the extra retirement and disability benefits that Social Security provides.
- Disability Income Protection - Available at low group rates. Flexible features allow you to customize a plan to fit your needs.
- Tax Deferred 403B Retirement Plan – Self funded for future retirement and supplemental retirement option that helps save taxes.
