The District's Administrative Procedures are developed to provide detailed directions to employees in carrying out administrative functions. All procedures are designed to comply with Board policies, regulations from the Texas Administrative Code and the Texas Education Agency, and all laws, including the Texas Education Code and federal and case laws.
Authority: The development and dissemination of official Administrative Procedures are required by Board policy BP (LOCAL). These coordinated Administrative Procedures are a major portion of various District administrative regulations that also include manuals, guides, handbooks, and forms published by various departments.
Development: The procedures are drafted by the Administrative Officer in Policies & Procedures, reviewed by the Administrative Procedures Review Committee and other appropriate personnel, and approved by the Deputy or Associate Superintendent under whose authority a specific procedure is issued. Please note that changes in laws or Board policy that affect these administrative procedures will supersede the provisions found in these procedures. |
