Homework and tutorial assistance is based on the school days instructional lessons or academic enrichment activities.
A safe and conducive place for students to study, socialize, interact, and engage in recreational/physical fitness opportunities. A snack administered under and meeting Program and federal requirements.
The district goals that the program embrace are to:
Provide a quality education and safe learning environment for every student.
Provide activities that are based on attaining student achievement at or above grade level; and provide family involvement activities for students and families.
Objective of the program is to provide after school educational and recreational enrichment opportunities for students enrolled in the district.
SciMath Initiatives is a math and science initiative program funded by the City of San Antonio, serves as a model program for all 60 SAISD After School Challenge sites. The program will provide accelerated student-centered opportunities for students at campuses that have been designated by each of the After School site.
Learning Through Sports is a math enrichment program in which students are encourage to achieve their math potentials via technology and sports.
