Mission Statement

The mission of the San Antonio Independent
School District Career and Technology
Department Is to educate all students to meet the
challenges of the 21st Century by integrating
academic, professional, and technical standards.

Career and Technology Goals

Goal 1:
Each public school student shall master the basic
skills and knowledge necessary for managing the
dual roles of family member and wage earner.
(TEC 29.181(1))

Goal 2:
Each public school student shall master the basic
skills and knowledge necessary for gaining entry-
level employment in a high-skill, high wage job
or continuing the student’s education at the post-
secondary level. (TEC 29.181(1))
