The mandate of the Educational Services Department is to design, implement, monitor, and coordinate a comprehensive array of programs and services for students in at risk situations that enables them to become successful high school graduates. Varied residential facilities and agencies are provided with the needed support to assist their populations to continue receiving educational opportunities during their stay in the facility.

Our department also provides support to the community by assisting residents to continue their education if they dropped out of school and desire to obtain a GED. GED classes are offered throughout the San Antonio Independent School District attendance boundaries which include remediation and a GED Testing Center.
