This handbook illustrates the 2000 Single Member Trustee Districts for the SAISD providing  individual maps and written descriptions identifying the meets and bounds for each district. The boundary begins at the intersection of Callaghan Rd. and Fredericksburg Rd. Start southeast along Fredericksburg Rd. to the intersection of Fredericksburg and Siesta, extend a horizontal line to N Balcones Rd, south to Balcones Heights Rd, southwest to Fredericksburg Rd, southeast to W Ridgewood, east to West Ave, south to Fredericksburg Rd, southeast to the Southern Pacific Railroad line, south to Culebra, west to intersection of Culebra and Watkins, connect a northeastern imaginary line to the intersection of Bandera and Hillcrest, continue northeast on Hillcrest to Willowbrook, northwest to Horizon, north to Horizon and W Glenview, extend an imaginary line and follow northwest parallel between Horizon and W Piedras to Callaghan Rd, northeast and end back at Fredericksburg Rd.

The boundary begins at the intersection of Dewhurst and Beryl Dr. Start east on Beryl Dr. to Vance Jackson, south to Eland, east to West Ave, south to Basse Rd, east to Blanco, south to Basse Rd, east to McCullough, south to E Norwood, east to San Pedro, south to W Elmira, southwest to Interstate Highway 10, northwest to the Southern Pacific Railroad line, north to Fredericksburg Rd, northwest to West Ave, north to W Ridgewood, west to Fredericksburg Rd, northwest to Balcones Heights Rd, northeast to N Balcones Rd, north and extend to Dewhurst, and north to end back at Beryl Dr.

The boundary begins at the intersection of NW 26th and Culebra. Start east on Culebra to Southern Pacific Railroad line, south to Menchaca, east to N Brazos, south and extend to Macias, west to San Pedro Creek, south along the creek to S Laredo, west to S Brazos, south to Merida, west to S Zarzamora, south to Darby, west to General Hudnell, south to Kirk Place, west to the Southern Pacific Railroad, north to Darby, west to the mid-point between Barclay and Cupples, north to connect to the intersection of W Poplar and NW 26^th, north on NW 26^th to end back at Culebra.

The boundary begins at the intersection of an imaginary line and Darby. Start west on Darby to southwest on the Southern Pacific Railroad line, south to Kirk Place, east to General Hudnell, north to Darby, east to S Zarzamora, north to Merida St, east to Brazos, north to S Laredo, west to Intestate Highway 35, south to Bigfoot, east to S. Flores St, north to W Mitchell St, east to Mission Rd, northeast to Grove Ave, east to Roosevelt, north to Groveton, east to S Presa, north to Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad line, east to S Hackberry, north to Aransas, northeast to S. New Braunfels and Dilworth, start west and north along Dilworth to Iowa, east to Gevers, south to Aransas, east to S Mittman, south to Aransas, east to S Walters, north to Martin Lurther King, west to Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad line, south to Roland Ave, southeast to Alhaven, east to Pecan Valley, south to Rigsby, east to the Salado Creek, south along Salado Creek and extend to Utopia, west along Utopia to the extension of Utopia and Enfield. South along an extended imaginary line to the intersection of Perimeter Rd. and Siluria St, continue south through Southton Rd. to Shane Rd, west and extend to the San Antonio River, northwest following the river (includes branch that surrounds Symphony and a portion of E Pyron) to Roosevelt, north to Eads Ave, east to Southern Pacific Railroad line, south to Southcross, east to S. New Braunfels, north to Fair, west to Broadbent, north to Steves Ave, east to S. New Braunfels, and north to end back at Dilworth.

The boundary begins at the intersection of Walters St. and Hood, start east along Hood to Ervin, south to Bee, east to Coleman, east to Norfleet, south around Norfleet to Carson, east to Hines, south to Interstate Highway 35, east to Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad line, northeast to an imaginary extension of Pageland Dr, east along this imaginary line to Ackerman Rd, south to Bicentennial Dr, east and extend to Foster, south and extend to Rigsby, west to Rosillo Creek, south following Rosillo Creek to Sinclair, west to W.W. District 1 has two non-connecting boundaries:

Boundary 1

Beginning at intersection of Burr Rd near W Hathway, east along Burr to a line just east of Dover Rd, south along an imaginary line to Harry Wurzbach, west to the Fort Sam Houston boundary which aligns along the property lines of the homes on W Hathway, extend an imaginery line north back to end back at Burr Rd.

Boundary 2

Beginning at intersection of Broadway and Burr Rd, east along Burr to the San Antonio Country Club and Fort Sam Houston, south on this boundary line until it intersects with Austin Rd, west on Austin Rd. to Eleanor, west to the Fort Sam Houston boundary, south to Brackenridge, west to Broadway, south to Post, east along Post to Pine, south to Army, east to the Fort Sam Houston boundary, south to continuation of Pine, south to Cunningham, west to Alamo, south and extend to Nika, east to Pine, south to Grayson, east to N New Braunfels, south to Carson, east to Frank, north to Hood, east to Walters St, south to the Southern Pacific Railroad line, west to Pine St, south to Sherman, west to S Hackberry, south to Burleson, west to N Mesquite, south to Dawson, west to US 281, south to Commerce, east to N Cherry, south to Shadrach, east to N Mesquite, south to Virginia, east to S Hackberry St, south to Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad line, west to S Presa, south to Groveton, west to Roosevelt, south to Grove, west to Mission Rd. south to W Mitchell St, west to S.
