| Description: | On January 22, 2007 the Board approved the formation of a Facilities Advisory Committee (FAC) to provide community input on the proposed facilities improvement strategies and processes for the best interest of SAISD students. Staff presented to the FAC benchmarks for excellence, equity and efficiency and provided criteria to measure school facilities against these benchmarks. During six meetings between February 15th and April 19th, the FAC reviewed and discussed each criterion in detail and voted to accept, modify or reject them.
