GED TESTING REQUIREMENTS

PRE REGISTRATION

STEP 2

Must call (210-554-2440) for a registration appointment.  
On that date you will come to our office: 
for orientation, to pay your fees, to show your documents,
and to receive your test date appointments.

18 Years of age and older:

• is a resident of the state – provide current Texas DPS
  I.D./Drivers License/Military I.D. or Passport
• is not enrolled in school
• is not a high school graduate

• is a resident of the state – provide current Texas DPS I.D./Drivers License/Military I.D. or Passport
• is not enrolled in school – copy of high school withdrawal -“exception is made if the applicant is enrolled in an approved in-school GED preparation program)
• is not a high school graduate
• has Parent/guardian permission

• is a resident of the state – provide current Texas DPS I.D./Drivers License/Military I.D. or Passport
• is not enrolled in school – copy of high school withdrawal -“exception is made if the applicant is enrolled in an approved in-school GED preparation program)
• is not a high school graduate
• has Parent/guardian permission
• is court ordered because of truancy (must bring court order papers)     

RETESTING & TRANSFERS

Examinee can retest each subject only 3 times per year.
Retest fee is $15.00

TRANSFERS
Transfers please call 554-2440 for a registration appointment.
Transfer fees:  $10.00 plus each test is $15.00.
