Welcome to the Governmental &Community Relations Department, which serves as a liaison between the District and the greater SAISD community, working to forge partnerships and foster relationships with parents, community leaders, businesses and elected officials.
We facilitate partnerships with hundreds of local businesses and work closely with one of our most valuable assets: our parents. Through the work of our campus-based Parent & Family Liaisons, Parent Summits held twice annually and our parent support line, we connect with parents and engage them as active participants in their child’s education.
Our department also is in charge of administration of School Board elections, distributing and collecting election materials.
