Winners of the 2014 ECE "Get the Word Out" Contest

Congratulations to the Inez Foster Main Office Staff! The SAISD Early Childhood Department delivered breakfast to the staff in appreciation for their participation in the 2014 "Get the Word Out" contest. The contest was designed to help the ECE Department advertise the 4th Annual Head Start Application Event held earlier this month. The school was selected in a drawing from all participants earlier this week. Pictured are Genevieve Renteria, Department Secretary; Stacey Lewis, Principal and Mark Sutherland-Trevino, Data Analyst.


Congratulations to Calandra Tapia, Family Support Worker at Kate Schenck Elementary! She is the winner of a $20.00 gift card to Chick-fil-A. Calandra's entry was chosen, at random, from several entries submitted by her of posters she displayed advertising our 4th Annual Head Start Application Event. The SAISD Early Childhood Department will begin taking applications for its Head Start program daily at any Head Start site!





 2014-2015Applications will be accepted beginning  July 29 and 30, 2014 at all
SAISD Elementary campuses. Please call your neighborhood campus for more information!
