SAISD Life Program
San Antonio Independent School District pays for $10,000 worth of life insurance for its eligible employees.  You can elect Supplemental Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage for yourself.  You may also elect Dependent Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage for your spouse, subject to a maximum of 100% of your supplemental life insurance election up to $50,000, and/or coverage for your child(ren) in the amounts of $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000.  Dependent child coverage begins at live birth and continues to age 26.  See rate chart below:

Qualifying Events
