School Administrator Institute for Leadership

SAISD employees who hold or are in the process of attaining mid-management certification and want to increase their understanding of urban educational leadership through real-world experiences with SAISD leaders will want to apply to participate in SAIL. Over the next two years, the SAIL team will work as a professional learning community to develop the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and experiences to be successful urban educational leaders while addressing real instructional issues through the development, use, and refinement of a professional Theory of Action.
