Student Clubs Navarro: Positive Attitudes for Teens Club Summary

Sponsor: Carmen Rodriguez Principal: Nancy York The purpose of the PAT (Positive Attitude for Teens) is to establish and maintain a positive self esteem. The club will focus on the relationship piece of education that has had a tremendous impact on student achievement. The goal is to give students exposure to life experiences they may not otherwise get in their communities or within their family structure. As a result of these life experiences, the students will establish a connection between school and outside positive influences. The activities students will be exposed to would include leadership training, and educational field trips including college visits and career shadowing. |
