Lanier law enforcement students advance to national competition

Congratulations to members of the Lanier High School Law Enforcement team who qualified to advance to the SkillsUSA national competition, based on their performance at the state competition last weekend. Run4EdwebParticipants in the 4th annual SAISD Foundation Run 4Education cross the finish line at Alamo Stadium on March 28. This year, the growing event drew some 3,000 runners, many of them SAISD students and employees coming together to celebrate health and fitness.



We are proud to highlight another student success: Jefferson HS standout theater student David Rudy Perez is a finalist in the Musical Theatre category of the Las Casas Performing Arts Scholarship Competition! Winners of this competition are selected each year by nationally acclaimed theater professionals. The final performances and award presentations will take place during The Joci Awards on Sunday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.
