SAISD homeless liaison earns national lifetime achievement award

Hawthorne Academy students participate in the 2014 Design Treasures seminar, hosted by The San Antonio Chapter of the Society for Design Administration. Jefferson HS architecture students volunteered to assist at the half-day seminar for 4th- and 5th-grade students.
Smith ES on Oct. 17 held an early kick-off to national Red Ribbon Week, is Oct. 23-31. In addition to representatives of the local fire station and police unit, visitors to the school included various mascots, including McGruff the Crime Dog.
