April 15 (Fri) — Battle of Flowers Parade Day
All District schools and most offices will be closed.


April 19 (Tue) — Radio Disney wellness visits
2 p.m. at W.W. White Elementary School, 545 S. W.W. White Road

Representatives from the popular radio network Radio Disney AM 1160 will present health and fitness tips.

April 19 (Tues) — Citizens’ Oversight Committee meeting
6 p.m. at Japhet Elementary School, 314 Astor St.

The public is invited to attend the meetings of this 24-member group created to ensure the effective and efficient use of SAISD Bond 2010 proceeds.

April 20 (Wed) — Magnet Fair
6:30 p.m. at Jefferson High School, 723 Donaldson Ave.

All Bexar County-area 8th-graders and their parents are invited to learn about the exciting educational opportunities available through two of SAISD’s newest Magnet programs, Architecture & Environmental Studies and Military Science & Public Services. They are among five high school Magnets debuting in the 2011-12 school year.  

April 22 (Fri) — Good Friday
All District schools and most offices will be closed.
