Franklin ES kicked off the 2012-2013 school year with a red carpet welcome ceremony for students on Aug. 27, 2012. The event was called "Rolling Out the Red Carpet for our STAARS at Franklin." STAARS is a take off on the state STAAR accountability test. Check out the story in this video.
