Jefferson HS teacher named ExCEL winner
James Hammond, a teacher at Jefferson High School, has been named a KENS 5 ExCEL Award winner. Anchor Deborah Knapp presented him with the Golden Apple Trophy at the school on Oct. 2. Hammond is in his third year of teaching but already has an impressive list of accomplishments to his name.
