SAISD Magnet & In-District Charter Fair Oct. 2

SAISD Magnet & In-District Charter Fair Oct. 2

Students and their parents are invited to learn more about engaging educational options that provide valuable exposure to careers through SAISD’s magnet programs and specialized schools. On October 2, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Brackenridge High School, students and their parents will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive information from District representatives about the programs.

We understand that education is not a “one-size-fits-all” package, so we offer a breadth of programs to allow students to develop their talents or pursue special interests and career goals. These excellent educational opportunities are open to next year's high-school freshmen, 6th-graders and kinders from throughout Bexar County, allowing students and parents to choose the program that best fits their interest and needs.

SAISD offers magnet programs at middle- and high school levels. Special interest areas include media production, health professions, law, science, engineering, language immersion, banking, international baccalaureate and more.

SAISD also has 13 In-District Charter schools which provide a variety of areas of focus and methods of instruction. These schools range from PK-5, PK-8 and grades 6-8 and 9-12 and include programs such as dual-language, learning styles, early college high school and more.

With so much to choose from, there is a very good chance that SAISD offers the specialized academic focus you are seeking. To find out more about our offerings click here:
