Deputy Superintendent's Welcome

Welcome to the San Antonio Independent School District Office of the Deputy Superintendent for Talent Management under the leadership of Dr. Matt Weber. We strive to provide the human capital support needed to ensure students meet key achievement points. SAISD’s Pillars of Support include Academic Excellence, Talent Management, Culture Shift, Stakeholder Engagement, and Fiscal Management. The Talent Team makes every effort to provide well-planned, coordinated, differentiated support to all our principals and their schools so that they can focus directly on teaching, learning, and significantly improving student achievement.

Talent Management Vision is to create an innovative learning culture for SAISD by attracting, recruiting, and retaining top instructional and leadership talent. We will serve the needs of our campuses by bringing research-based best-practices to manage human capital at the district and campus level, with a focus on teachers, school leaders, and other instructional staff. The Talent Team works to ensure that effective educators at every level in the District are positively impacting every child, every day.
