Aetna.  SAISD contributes $411.00 to $ 487.38/month for your health plan
choice.  You pay $10 to $144.04/month for Employee Only coverage.  Dependent Coverage is also

SAISD Life Program

San Antonio Independent School District pays for $10,000 worth of life insurance for its eligible
employees. You can elect Supplemental Life and Accidental Dealth & Dismemberment (AD&D)
coverage for yourself. You may also elect Dependent Life and Accidental Dealth & Dismemberment
coverage for your spouse, subject to a maximum of 100% of your supplemental life insurance
election up to $50,000, and/or covarege for our children in the amounts of $2,500, $5,000, or
$10,000. Dependent child coverage begins at live birth and continues to age 26. See rate chart below:

Pre-Tax (Section 125 Cafeteria) Plan

San Antonio ISD offers all employees the opportunity to pay for eligible insurance premiums Pre-Tax
(before) or Post-Tax (after).

Qualifying Events

Each year during Open Enrollment, you elect your benefit coverage for the coming year. Once you
have enrolled, you may not change your benefit coverage unless you have a "Qualifying Event".
