New Tech San Antonio, part of the nationally-acclaimed New Technology Network, is the only school of its kind in South Texas. New Tech is a high school where subjects are integrated, students work in teams and learning is project based – all in a technology-rich environment. The model emphasizes a one-to-one student-to-computer ratio and offers a wealth of college preparatory course work. New Tech San Antonio, called a school-with-in-a-school, is housed at Sam Houston HS.

The Phoenix Middle College program, open to juniors and seniors, is an exclusive partnership between SAISD and Alamo Colleges where our students take classes at St. Phillips College to earn both their high school diploma and up to 32 hours of college credit. This unique program provides the latest technological advances for learning a skilled trade in a demand occupation.

Located adjacent to San Antonio College campus, Travis Early College High School offers a personalized learning environment where students complete their high school diploma while earning up to 60 hours of college credit, and/or an Associate's Degree at no cost to the student or family. Upon graduation our students will make a seamless transition from high school to a four year college or university.

Young Women's Leadership Academy

The San Antonio Young Women's Leadership Academy (grades 6-12) is a collaborative effort between San Antonio Independent School District and the Foundation for the Education of Young Women. The focus of San Antonio's first all-girls public school is on math, science and technology, along with college preparation, leadership and women's health.
