Office of Access and Enrollment Services - Returning Students

Welcome Back

All SAISD students both new and returning must be enrolled each year. For the first time, we are giving families the option of completing their annual registration online, using a computer, tablet or smart phone using the SchoolMint platform. Families new to the district can begin online registration according to the following timeline:

  • Kindergarten students: March 1
  • Students in grades 1-12: March 20
  • Pre-kindergarten students: April 2

Student registration for 2017-2018 is ongoing through the end of the school year. Please contact your campus for their main office hours or to set an appointment for registration that works best for your schedule.

Families who do not have their own homes or have been displaced and students who are in foster or kinship care may register without these documents. Please contact the Family & Student Support Services at (210) 554-2635 for assistance.

Please bring the following to the school:
  • Photo ID (driver’s license or military ID, etc.) of person registering the child
  • Proof of SAISD residence (utility bill OR phone bill OR lease agreement, etc.)
  • Child’s birth certificate or other proof
  • Child's Social Security card, if available (optional)
  • Child's immunization record (up-to-date records)
  • Recent academic records (report card, withdrawal form, transcript, etc.)
