In the spotlight will be the facilities, far more like a tech company than a high school. CAST Tech occupies a building that once housed Fox Tech high school’s vocational shop, providing the campus a cool industrial vibe, with the interior renovation reflecting the school’s curriculum. The remodeled facilities and outdoor areas are eco-friendly, as well. Leading tours will be the school’s proud students. The focus of CAST Tech, which opened this school year, is on preparing students for careers in technology, business and entrepreneurship, coding, cyber security and more. It also offers company-generated projects with industry partners, job shadowing, mentorships and internships. Comprising CAST Tech’s inaugural class are freshmen, with the school growing to include seniors over the next few years.
