UPDATE:

SAISD and the San Antonio River Authority (SARA) will host a community meeting to review the site plans for the District's future administration building and how they align with the San Pedro Creek improvements and the proposed Cameron and Kingsbury Street work. The meeting will be held December 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at the Fox Tech High School campus.

Background:

San Antonio ISD has been working over the past few years to sell some of its properties with the goal of building a new consolidated central office administration facility on District property – at no cost to taxpayers.

Currently, SAISD Central Office employees are housed in several buildings across the District averaging 50 years in age. It is estimated that the District will realize approximately $1 million in annual operational savings from the consolidation.

The District is now able, with funds from sales of District real estate, to construct the building on the football field across from the Fox Tech High School campus. The facility will be a one-stop resource for District employees and parents.

SAISD will be holding a series of three public meetings to gather input on the building and site. The meetings will be hosted by the District, RVK Architects Inc., and Douglas Architects, Inc. These meetings will provide an opportunity for the community to engage with members of the project design team, and share ideas through the initial stages of the design process.

Note: Information on each meeting will be shared on this website, as well as progress on the design and future construction phases.
