Aug. 4-7 — SAISD Rising Star Conference for New Teachers
7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Page Middle School, 401 Berkshire Ave.
Educators new to SAISD will learn the most effective means of instructing students and classroom management, as well as about available resources and support systems. The opening day keynote addresses will be made by Aric Bostick starting at 8:15 a.m. Following this address, the popular motivational speaker of Success Training Inc. will conduct workshops. Superintendent Dr. Robert J. Durón will be opening day keynote luncheon speaker starting at approximately 11:45 a.m.
