‘Axle Galench in Concert’ presentation
8:15 to 11:45 a.m. at Hawthorne Academy, 115 W. Josephine St.
Author, songwriter and singer Rooster Morris will bring his interactive program encouraging youngsters to develop their own artistic, music, writing and performing skills. The show is based upon Morris’ series of books on Axle Galench, a little boy who journeys into the land of Bedlam. Following the program that combines storytelling, music and audience participation, Morris will urge youngsters to respect themselves by leading drug-free lives.
