This nine weeks in my class...

In 6th grade Math we are starting the year with new textbooks, McDougal Little Math 1

We are starting with a study of numbers, operations and quantitative reasoning as well as reviewing elementary skills. Place value, and decimals are also very important, along with factorization, and multiples. percents, ratios, and fractions

This Nine Weeks' Homework:
Will continue (2-4 problems) about 4 nights a week for current topics. As possible, there will be a weekly review sheet for Friday.

Upcoming Tests:
Assessments are conducted as each new topic is completed. Daily warm up problems point out problem areas to address and insure student mastery. There will be a weekly Quiz on Friday.The end of the grading period brings with it the District Interim test. We are quickly approaching our TAKS test time, so we review with that in mind
