This nine weeks in my class...

This nine weeks students will work weekly on producing a well written essay on a given topic. Students will share their work in "author's circle" and offer critiques to their fellow students. Students will continue to develop their higher order thinking skills by analyzing and discussing literature on a weekly basis.
This Nine Weeks' Homework:
Students will check out two novels from the Harris Middle School Library. Students are expected to read for a minimum of 30 minutes every evening as their homework assignment.
Upcoming Tests:
Comprehension quizzes and exams will be given every week. Grammar quizzes will be taken on the computer.
Daily Conference Time: 2:35-3:25p.m.
