Welcome to Andrew Briscoe Academy, home of the Briscoe Bears. We are a TEA Recognized campus serving approximately 580 monolingual and bilingual students in grades PreK-4 through 5th.
Our goal as an internal charter school is to educate and meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each child while providing a safe and nurturing environment for learning.
2015-16 Briscoe Spring Registration has BEGUN!
- All current K-5 students received their registration forms last week, please return all forms to your child's homeroom teacher by May 18th to save your spot at Briscoe!
- Pre-K and Kinder Information Session is May 15th at 9:30am.
- Kinder Roundup May 18-22!
- Pre-K Round-Up is May 18-19th ONLY from 8-11 & 1-4. We will be open until 6pm on May 19th.
Greetings Mighty Briscoe Bears! My name is Michelle Hickman and I will be serving the families of SAISD and Briscoe Elementary as your new principal. I have been in education for 14 years. I have taught grades 1,3,5, and 7 & have been an administrator at the intermediate & middle school levels for the last 7 years. It is my mission to assist teachers in becoming the BEST educators that our children need and to provide our children with the BEST tools to become life-long learners and productive citizens. 2014-2015 will be a great year!
