Mrs. Quintanilla is a graduate of Burbank HS.  After graduating from BHS, she attended San Antonio College and then transferred to the University of the Incarnate Word.  She earned a Bachelor's (B.A.) degree in Secondary Education and began teaching Special Education at Longfellow MS.  She enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned her Master's degree in Counseling & Guidance.  She was a counselor at Whittier MS and then it was back home to Burbank as the "S House" Counselor.  Mrs. Quintanilla loves being at Burbank.

Ms. Brown represents Advise TX, a program affiliated and modeled after the National College Advising Corp. Advise TX started out at UT Austin last year with only a handful of advisers and has expanded to 120 advisers with chapters at UT, Texas A&M, TCU and Trinity.  Originally from Oklahoma, she is a recent Trinity University graduate with a BA in Sociology.  As an Advise TX Adviser her mission is to assist students from all grade levels, and to encourage students to take steps towards gaining college access.
