Scheduling Classes in the Library:

Scheduling for any part of the Library, including the Teacher Resource Room, can be done utilizing the sign-up calendar located at the circulation desk. When signing up, please discuss the intended use and request any materials and equipment needed at that time. Since many departments and offices use the Center's services, it is best to schedule as early as possible. Also, please let the staff know if your schedule changes, so that others may benefit. Teachers must remain in the Library with their classes, and are responsible for maintaining decorum and discipline. The Library schedule is on Connell's Professional Learning Calendar for viewing.

Computer Use:

In compliance with District policies, the computers are available only for educational purposes. Please see the Acceptable Use Policies accessed through the SAISD website http://www.saisd.net/school/053/technology/aup.htm

Textbook Procedure:

Textbooks will be issued at the beginning of the year, and collected at the end of the year, by the Textbook Clerk/Library Assistant, Mrs. Gomez. At the time of issuance, teachers will receive a list of issued books by barcode. Techers should take every precaution to provent damage or loss of textbooks. Parents/guardians may check out textbooks for their student's home use by filling out and signing a form available in the Library.
