Welcome to Cooper Academy

Welcome to Cooper Academy

Cooper Academy is a program designed for students at risk of not completing their high school diploma. These students desire to return to school to complete state requirements for their high school diploma. Cooper Academy's motto is "My past is not my future." All students receive individual counseling in order to implement a workable plan to earn credits for graduation, while incorporating a flexible or modified daily schedule. Students receive intense college and workforce modules to enable them to pursue higher education and employment opportunities after graduation.

SAISD Mission Statement
To transform SAISD into a national model urban school district where
every child graduates and is educated so that he or she is prepared
to be a contributing member of the community.
