STUDENT DISCIPLINE POLICY



BOYSTOWN
Upon entry to Estrada Achievement Center, students will go through an orientation and the student expecations are introduced. Students are taught one of the the fifteen social skills which make up the Boys Town Model. Review, discussion, and acting out the skills are worked on each day.

Boys Town Skills:
  • Following Instructions
  • Accepting Criticism or a Consequence
  • Accepting “No” for an answer
  • Greeting Others
  • Getting the Teachers attention
  • Making a Request
  • Disagreeing Appropriately
  • Giving Criticism
  • Resisting Peer Pressure
  • Making an Apology
  • Talking with Others
  • Giving Compliments
  • Accepting Compliments

1.   Coach Reminder of Concern/Issue
2.   Student Reduction of Points.
3.   Head Coach Intervention & Parent Contact 
4.   Behavior Interventionist Referral
5.   Disciplinary Referral/Action and Parent Conference.
