Fox Tech High School is dedicated to preparing students for success in college, career, and life. Fox Tech is a public, tuition-free, college preparatory magnet high school specializing in medical science and law and public policy. Located in downtown San Antonio, Texas, Fox Tech High School is a part of the San Antonio Independent School District and is open to committed and qualified students living in Bexar County. The mission of Fox Tech is to graduate all students prepared for success in higher learning. We are committed to fostering a campus-wide culture that is based on positive relationships for all stakeholders and providing rigorous instruction through innovative teaching practices.

 “Downtown and College Bound”

 The goal of both magnet programs at Fox Tech is college preparation and career exploration. Students have a choice of focusing on the medical sciences or law and public policy. Both programs have an intense academic core designed to prepare students for success on advanced placement tests and college entrance exams. The programs stress the importance of skilled reading, writing, reasoning, and research through active participation in the learning community. To complement the rigorous academic program, Fox Tech students will need to have hands-on experiences in the fields relevant to their course of study, including job-shadowing, labs, research, co-curricular activities, competitions, and internships. Such authentic experiences will be facilitated by teachers, college instructors, and local professionals using the latest technology. The Fox Tech High School community welcomes all support and participation in making college preparation and career exploration a success for all of our students.
