May 22, 2009 Sponsor - Ms. Lee The Miss Sam Houston Pageant is an opportunity for the upper class young ladies to show their leadership ability as well as school pride. In order to participate the girls must have a teacher recommendation, no office referrals within this school year, she can't have a baby or be pregnant, She must have good attendance, passing grades, a positive attitude and an over all nice disposition. The girls have to participate in fundraisers, community service opportunities and of course maintain all classroom expectations. The actual pageant is usually in the Spring. The winner receives a 500.00 dollars scholarship to be used at the time she enrolls in college. Official rules,are based on the Miss Texas Pageant rules. |
