Welcome to George E. Kelly Elementary – home of the golden Eagles! We are a small neighborhood community school that has been providing quality education to the Kelly community for 52 years. Kelly was originally started in 1953 to serve the children of the military personnel stationed at Kelly AFB. It became a public school in 1962 and joined with the San Antonio Independent School District.
Our highly-qualified staff is dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. We realize the importance of developing in each child an attitude of self-respect and self-worth. Therefore, we also provide a variety of opportunities to form meaningful and responsible relationships.
At Kelly Elementary, we feel that parents are our partners in the important job of educating the children of this community. We welcome your suggestions and encourage your involvement in school activities.
