Fine Arts Success at Lanier!
Lanier Art Students participated in the SAISD Art Showcase at the Instituto Cultural de Mexico. Again Ms. Harvey and I would like to thank you for supporting the Visual Arts.
Joe P., a 10th grader, had his piece selected to represent our district and school at a summer exhibition at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. Way to go Mr. Romero and Ms. Harvey!

On May 13, 2015, the National Technical Honor Society inducted fifteen new members
into the organization. These students represent the best in Lanier's Career and Technology
courses, and they are standout among their peers. Congratulations!

Lanier SkillsUSA students advanced to Nationals with their Zero Tolerance Project. The group recently surveyed parents and students at Tafolla's Community Fair, providing gifts and borchures that encouraged youth to be substance free and parents to play an active role in reducing at-risk behaviors.

State Championships in Corpus Christi and now qualify for National Competition! Way to go team!
SkillsUSA Students presented "Teach Beyond the X" and "Zero Tolerance" to CTE teachers attending the TIVA Converence.
These sessions are designed to enlighten educators from students' perspective to ensure their students are working to their academic potential.
