Skills USA

Students at Lanier High school enter into competitions to show off their skills to other schools from all over Texas. The departments of career and technology that participate each year are Cosmetology, Auto Technology, Auto Collision and Criminal Justice. All of these departments have succeeded in qualifying for state competition.

Skills USA also teaches the students to get involved, and shows a great deal of leadership that reflects the influence
that this competition and program has on them.
