Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year as Rhodes Middle School begins its fifty-seventh year of serving students and parents. As principal of Rhodes Middle School, I'm excited to serve the Rhodes Learning community by ensuring continued improvement of instructional practices, increased student learning, and positive student/parent/teacher relationships. Our theme for the 2011-2012 school year is centered on student character. We must all, "Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Choose your words, for they become actions. Study your habits, for they become your character. Develop your character, for it becomes your destiny."

The Rhodes Faculty share a united vision of student success requiring imagination, trust, determination and a belief that team work makes the dream work. Over the last few years, Rhodes Middle school has made significant gains in accordance with social and academic indicators. The Rhodes Learning Community is committed to educating the whole child and hopes you will join us in our endeavor to provide each child with a solid foundation for continued life long learning.
