It is the mission of the Will Rogers Elementary faculty and staff to provide the initial foundation of academic, personal and social skills that all children need to succeed.  We believe the elementary years are the basis for all future accomplishments.

Will Rogers Elementary

Will Rogers Elementary School opened at its present site in 1941 as part of the Los Angles Heights School District, which merged with SAISD in 1949. Rogers Elementary School is part of the Thomas A. Edison High School cluster of schools, so our Teddy Bears will one day transform into Golden Bears! The Rogers' community takes great pride in its school, and our students are up to the challenge of meeting the high expectations we place on them. Academic, support, and extra-curricular activities, as well as partnerships with business and community, perpare our students for learning that will serve them throughout their lives. Students and staff exemplify the SAISD's Misson Statement, Core Beliefs, and Core Values on a daily basis as we strive toward Exemplary!
