Tuesday, November 17, 2009 -- Math and Science Night from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Monday, February 8, 2010 -- Picnic Under the Stars
Spring 2010 -- Science Fair
Goals: *The science committee is committed to ensuring that all students know and actively use the scientific process. *The science committee is also committed to increasing student knowledge of science vocabulary. To help with this task we are posting science vocabulary around the school that is color coded by grade level. Since the vocabulary builds upon previous year(s), it is important that students can recognize and retain vocabulary to be successful on the TAKS test and interims. * The science committee is also committed to promoting TEKS based instruction based on the science TEKS and objectives.
